Jacksonville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jacksonville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is my first ever negative public review. In fact, the 54 other reviews I have given have all been 5 stars. I sat on this for two days trying to decide if I should post anything, and in the end, our experience at Vale was so bad I felt compelled to write. We got three small items, and the total was $61. There was an "upgrade" of $8.50 that we asked about, and the answer was vague and frustrating. The green wrap pictured below came to $19. The "small" bowl looks like a dessert size. The young lady taking our order was nice, but it was clearly her first day/week, as she had no understanding of the menu, etc. The rest of the kitchen was understaffed. There were several people waiting for their to-go orders. Boxes stacked everywhere with no rhyme or reason, trash all over the place, random items throughout the store. There are many positive reviews of this establishment. I'd encourage you to read reviews from over the last few months, however, as they perhaps paint a better picture of the current state.

First time here. Staff was inviting and friendly. Service was excellent and food was ready almost instantly. Exceptional experience and amazing food!! I got the Vegan Comfort Bowl, super sized, with a side of sweet potato noodles and a dragon fruit lemonade.

Been here three times. First time was on my bday and even though it was close to closing the food was amazing. They did make a couple of minor mistakes that I could have dealt with, but they were very up front when I came in and explained the confusion and even fixed it on the house (I could have made it work but they were insistent on making it right). I don't eat out often because of dietary restrictions, and normally finding healthier food is either expensive or bland and dry. This place is cheaper than others I have been to in Jacksonville, have things like whole wheat options (I think including their macaroni noodles) and some amazing sweet potato noodles I've never tried before but now is my go-to base. They're also open later than the place I used to go to (10p) and when they have great parking. Inside is nice but I always order online and take home. The lady manager I spoke with today was super helpful and the team working for her were all nice too. I don't really leave reviews, but it's rare to find good food places that also treat you like more than a transactional customer and also work to make things right when they're not, without making you feel like a bad person fo

I really don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, and if you look at my past experiences, you’ll see I’m generally easy to please and understanding. That said, basic courtesy and respect are non-negotiable for me—and unfortunately, that’s where this place fell short. My wife and I stopped by around 10:30 a.m. hoping to grab breakfast, specifically the avocado toast we had seen listed on their website. We waited in line for about 10 minutes, which was completely fine—we’re patient and understand that mornings can get busy. However, when we finally reached the counter, the interaction we had was disappointing. When my wife politely tried to place the order, the employee responded abruptly with, “We don’t got that. Been discontinued for a month,” and then simply walked away without offering any alternatives or even basic courtesy. The tone was dismissive and came across as unnecessarily rude. It wasn’t about the item being unavailable—menus change, and that’s understandable. It was the lack of professionalism and respect that stood out. There are plenty of breakfast spots in the area that value their customers and treat them kindly. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere. No one
